According to the news from Marvel Heroes official website, they said they have made the Marvel Heroes client live now, you can purchase different kinds of the packs through Steam now.

Q: Do I need to install Marvel Heroes through Steam if it’s already installed on my PC?
No, you do not. We’re making Marvel Heroes available on Steam as it’s a popular platform for game distribution, and we know a lot of people are big Steam fans. If you have already downloaded and installed Marvel Heroes, however, you do not need to install the game via Steam unless you want to.
Q: How do I install Marvel Heroes via Steam?
For this weekend only:
In the Steam client, search for Marvel Heroes to find the store page.
Scroll down to the section headed ‘Final Beta Weekend’.

Q: I have already purchased a Founders Pack through the Marvel Heroes Founders Program. Do I need to do anything to add that to my Steam account?
No you do do not. Any Founders Program purchases made on MarvelHeroes.com will be applied to your account at the beginning of Early Game Access, which starts on May 28th for Ultimate Pack owners. You do not need to do anything to get this content in the game, as it is applied directly to your account.
Q: What if I want to play Marvel Heroes via Steam, but I want to purchase a Founders Pack not on Steam?
You may purchase any Founders Pack on MarvelHeroes.com, which will be applied to your account at the beginning of Early Game Access, which starts on May 28th for Ultimate Pack owners. You can still access the game via Steam - all of your Founders Pack content will be applied directly to your account.
Q: If I purchase a Founders Pack via Steam, how do I apply it to my Marvel Heroes account?
After purchasing a Founders Pack on Steam, you will be presented with a Founders Pack key for Marvel Heroes. Add this to your account by logging into your profile at www.marvelheroes.com and then clicking the Redeem Key button. Alternatively, in your Steam Library, once you have installed the game client via Steam, right-click Marvel Heroes on your games list and then click ‘View CD Key.’ This will provide you with your Founders Pack key that you can register by logging into your profile at www.marvelheroes.com and then clicking the Redeem Key button.

Q: Is the Steam version of Marvel Heroes different in any way?
Apart from not having a separate game launcher, the version of Marvel Heroes available on Steam is exactly the same version that’s available from MarvelHeroes.com.

However, if you’ve already installed Marvel Heroes from www.marvelheroes.com but would prefer to play via Steam, you may wish to uninstall the current version to free up space on your hard disk.
